The ORIA pneumatic air spring may also be used in the mining and construction field. The ripper is a very strong machine that works mainly in rock areas and for those applications where strong impacts on the ground are required.
The pneumatic rubber air bellow plays an important role in this application, considering the strong shocks that has to absorb when the ripper’s blade impacts on materials as cement, limestones, etc.
In the following picture, a clear example can be observed, to understand the place where the air spring would be located. The air bellow’s performance is remarkable as it is a pneumatic rubber cylinder able to absorb the shocks and the vibration, while this machine is working. In addition, it can also be used as an actuator, taking into account that it may be expanded or contracted by using an air supply, in order to push the blade and make a higher strength to extract the limestone while hitting the ground in the working area.

In the following image we can observe an example of the place where the air bellow would be located in the ripper machine.

The industrial air bellows required for this application might be between the reference M-100 to M-140, inside ORIA’s product range.
