Assembly instructions and scope of delivery
To assemble the Acoflex coupling, mount the hubs (1) on the shaft ends, without forgetting to lean the cover ring (3) on a hub (1), and align the system components, making sure the distance between hubs (1) “n” is kept, in order to ensure that the elastic insert can be fitted.
The elastic insert (2) is mounted in the gaps between the teeth of the hubs (1) and once, the steel cover ring (3) is fixed with the elastic insert (2) tightening the set screws (4) in one of the slots of the elastic insert (2).

Storage and maintenance
The elastic inserts retain their mechanical properties and hardness characteristics for several years if stored in the correct conditions (dry and covered place). However, the colour of the insert may vary over time due to the light.
The couplings’ hubs and cover rings can be stored in the same conditions for several years for an indefinite time.
A periodic visual inspection of the coupling is recommended.
