Tyre coupling with brake drum UNEFLEX P Series
The tyre coupling with brake drum is commonly used in crane applications, specifically IN double jaw brakes according to DIN 15435 standard on still mills.
One of the main features of the tyre coupling with brake drum, consists on the possibility to mount and dismount the coupling vertically, without lateral displacement of the motor or gear unit, loosening the screws and taking out the tyre.
The Uneflex with brake drum coupling is supplied with safety mortises so as to avoid the load from falling to the ground in case of having a break in the rubber elastic element, providing temporary emergency with limited torque.
The standard couplings with brake drum design are illustrated below, but other designs are available upon request.
