Tire coupling for debarkers

One of the most agressive sectors for flexible couplings could be seen in the wood industry. In which different applications could be identified, where the coupling has to be able to face high torque peaks and strong vibrations. In this cases, it is neccessary to apply a flexible coupling, besides we have to consider usinge a coupling able to withstand agressive working conditions. 

Tire coupling UNEFLEX

The flexible tire coupling has the capacity to absorb strong shocks and vibrations. This tire coupling is able to face fast start ups and high misalignments. In case of having a break, the elastic element functions as a safety mechanism, as the tire itself breaks, preventing wear from the rest of metal components and avoiding possible breaks in the machine.

When the tire is broken, it should be replaced with a new one and both hubs have to be readjusted to the elastic element. Therefore, the tire coupling is again prepared for the operation.
